Pakistan is preparing to launch a large-scale artificial intelligence upskilling effort aimed at strengthening its digital workforce and improving long-term economic competitiveness.
Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (Pakistan) is planning to roll out 20,000 online AI training programs under the National AI Advancement Initiative (NAIAI), according to official details.
The initiative is designed to equip citizens with practical artificial intelligence skills needed in a rapidly evolving global technology landscape. Each program is expected to run between six to 12 months and will be delivered through a dedicated learning management system (LMS).
The training programs will target a wide range of participants, including fresh graduates, government employees, teachers, freelancers, and professionals from various industries. Officials say the goal is to ensure broad access to emerging technology education across different sectors of society.
